The idea behind the Z1 is to get back to simplicity.  How often do you use 4 levels of red, spot etc.  Most of the lights today have too many wasted clicks.  This light was designed for practical use, keeping in mind how it would be used in the woods.

Backwards from neutral - Low Walk, Medium and High Walk
